Short Breaks (also known as respite care) are essential planned or emergency stays away from the family home. They benefit both the carer — who receives a crucial period of rest — and the individual, who enjoys new experiences, social connections, and independence in a safe, supported environment. SpringForth Health Care holds a contract with Stockport Council Adult Social Care to deliver Short Breaks services for adults.
Scheduled respite stays arranged in advance, allowing families and carers to plan ahead with confidence. We work closely with Stockport Council commissioners to ensure seamless referral and placement via the e-brokerage process.
